EVE MB31 314Ah Test Sheet: Reading Capacity, OCV3 and Ri3

EVE MB31 sample measurement table dated 8 August 2026 showing capacity, OCV3 and Ri3 readings

Short answer: An EVE MB31 batch sheet can help a B2B buyer review the recorded capacity, voltage and resistance fields for a stated sample or lot. It does not, by itself, prove every cell’s condition, a complete capacity-test method, or suitability for a finished battery pack.

This guide explains the fields shown in a supplier-provided MB31 measurement record and how to ask for the evidence that matters before approving a lot. The pictured record is dated 8 August 2026; the date is the measurement-record date, not a statement of cell production date. The batch currently reported by Sufeng as available in Poland is stated separately as an April 2026 production batch; confirm that the records offered for your order map to that exact batch.

First separate the model rating from the measured record

EVE’s public MB31 product information lists a prismatic LiFePO4 cell with 314Ah nominal capacity and 3.2V nominal voltage. The specification document identifies 1004.8Wh nominal energy and states the reference capacity test conditions. These model-level values are not the same thing as a supplier’s lot measurement table.

Item What it describes What to verify
314Ah nominal capacity Manufacturer’s model rating under stated test conditions Read the applicable datasheet revision, temperature, charge/discharge rate and voltage limits.
Capacity (Ah) in a batch table A recorded measurement for identified cells or samples Ask whether the value is per-cell, sampled or full-lot; request the test protocol and equipment/calibration details.
OCV3 (V) A voltage field as labelled in the supplied table Ask what “3” denotes in the supplier’s method, when the reading was taken, rest time, temperature and instrument.
Ri3 (mΩ) A resistance field as labelled in the supplied table Confirm AC or DC method, frequency/current, state of charge, temperature, fixture and instrument.
Grade / ranking field A supplier or factory classification in that record Request the issuer’s definition and traceability; a grade label alone is not an independent quality certificate.

The EVE specification lists initial internal resistance as 0.18mΩ ± 0.05mΩ using AC at 1kHz, at delivery state of charge, for a fresh cell. A value labelled “Ri3” should not be compared directly with that reference until the exact method and conditions are confirmed. Likewise, an OCV reading is a point-in-time voltage, not a capacity test.

What the supplied sample table shows—and its limits

The visible portion of the sample record provided to Sufeng contains rows with capacity readings around 330.8–333.9Ah, OCV3 readings around 3.260–3.266V, and Ri3 readings around 0.183–0.189mΩ. These are approximate ranges read from the displayed rows, not a statistical summary of the complete lot. The picture alone does not establish the sample count, complete distribution, measurement uncertainty, individual-cell traceability or acceptance rule.

Some recorded capacity readings are above the 314Ah nominal model rating. That does not change the MB31’s nominal rating to 330Ah. A buyer should compare the test conditions with the manufacturer’s method and keep the product identity and the measured result distinct.

Before relying on the sheet, ask the supplier to confirm in writing: (1) whether the page is a complete report or an excerpt; (2) which cells were measured and how they map to the lot offered; (3) the capacity test charge/discharge rates, temperature and cut-off voltages; (4) the OCV rest interval; (5) whether resistance is AC or DC and the measurement settings; and (6) the meaning of the grade field. Request the exact report version applicable to the quoted order.

How to review the record for pack procurement

  1. Match identity: Confirm EVE, MB31, nominal 314Ah and the exact terminal configuration on the quoted batch. Do not identify a cell from capacity alone.
  2. Check scope: Distinguish a sample inspection, a per-cell measurement list and a manufacturer specification. Ask how many cells are represented and whether any rows are omitted.
  3. Check method: Compare test current, voltage limits, temperature, rest time and instrument method before treating values as comparable.
  4. Check consistency: Review the complete set using acceptance limits defined for your project. Do not apply a universal internet threshold to an unknown test method.
  5. Validate the pack separately: Cell readings do not replace system-level checks of series/parallel design, busbars, BMS, compression/mechanical support, thermal management and commissioning.

Ask for batch-specific documents, not a generic promise

For a purchase decision, request the datasheet revision, order-specific batch identity, relevant measurement records and shipping/safety documents required for your route. Make sure the documentation corresponds to the model and lot you will receive. A carton photograph or one measurement page is useful context, but it is not proof that every cell has been independently capacity-tested.

Sufeng reports an EVE MB31 314Ah batch in its Poland warehouse, produced in April 2026. Current quantity and applicable lot documents are confirmed for each inquiry. The Poland-held goods have completed customs clearance in Poland; inspection or collection is available by prior appointment. China dispatch can also be quoted, with transport, customs, tax and delivery terms confirmed order by order.

Frequently asked questions

Does an OCV3 value prove that a cell has 314Ah capacity?

No. OCV is a voltage reading. Capacity requires a defined charge/discharge test and stated conditions.

Does a low Ri3 reading prove the lot is genuine or matched?

No. It is only meaningful with a known resistance method, instrument, state of charge and traceable cell identity. Authenticity and matching require separate evidence.

Can a buyer treat a sample sheet as the complete batch report?

Not without confirmation. Ask whether it is a sample, an excerpt or a full per-cell record, and confirm that its lot identifiers map to the batch being quoted.
